ANGOLA – A accident took place Monday, June 5, at approximately 4:58 p.m. when a car wrecked into a pond.
The incident occurred in front of the Angola American Legion Post 31 located off W. Maumee Street.
The Angola City Police stated the driver of a grey 2016 Kia Forte fell asleep while driving, went off the road, missed the guardrail and wrecked into the pond.
The driver was able to get out of the vehicle safely and no injuries were reported.
The vehicle was said to be a complete loss by the Angola City Police Department.
