(DEKALB COUNTY) – Minor injuries were reported in a one vehicle accident.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, 26 year old Jaesn Pearson of Auburn was traveling south in the 2200 block of State Road 427 at 10:44 PM Friday when a deer entered the roadway. Pearson says he swerved to avoid hitting the deer, going off the road and striking a tree.
Pearson had some bruising on his left hand and was transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Assisting at the scene was the Waterloo Marshal’s Office and the Waterloo Fire Department.
