(ANGOLA) – A mobile home fire was quickly put out Tuesday.
Angola Fire Chief William Harter says his department was contacted at 7:14 AM Tuesday about a fire at a mobile home at 2500 North 200 West Lot #1. Heavy fire was seen as firefighters arrived. Additional fire departments were called in to provide mutual aid and the fire was extinguished in 40 minutes.
The mobile home was unoccupied.
Harter says the cause of the fire is undetermined based on the investigation by his department and the Indiana State Fire Marshal’s office.
Assisting at the scene were the Steuben Township, Fremont, Metz and Orland Fire Departments, along with the Fremont Police Department, the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department and Steuben County EMS.
