Braun Names ISP Superintendent New Secretary Of Public Safety

(INDIANAPOLIS) - An Indiana State Police official has moved into a new role.

Indiana Governor Mike Braun announced Saturday evening that Anthony Scott has accepted the position of Indiana’s Secretary of Public Safety. He will continue in his position as Superintendent of State Police, which he was appointed to in 2024.

Scott takes over as the Secretary of Public Safety, which was previously held by Jennifer-Ruth Green. The position was vacated and the reason for her leaving has never been released.

Braun indicated that he will make more updates on personnel in the Office Of Public Safety early this week.
