(ANGOLA) – A Steuben County organization has earned a special designation.
The Steuben County Community Foundation proudly announces that it has once again met the nation’s highest philanthropic standards for operational quality, integrity, and accountability in the community foundation sector. The Community Foundations National Standards Board has confirmed SCCF’s compliance with the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations, reaffirming its accreditation through April of 2028.
This rigorous accreditation process evaluates SCCF’s policies and procedures across key areas, including donor services, investment management, grantmaking, and governance. Achieving reaccreditation is a testament to SCCF’s ongoing commitment to transparency and excellence in serving the community of Steuben County, aligning with the principles set forth by the Council on Foundations.
SCCF President and CEO Jennifer Danic says reaccreditation assures their donors and community partners that the SCCF meets the highest benchmarks in the field. Danic says it demonstrates their dedication to ethical practices and sustainable community impact.
