(DEKALB COUNTY) – Two people were injured in a collision in Northern Indiana.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says 26 year old Fey Lambert of Kendallville was driving north on I-69 near the 325.5 mile marker just after 9:30 AM Sunday and says she lost control of her vehicle and spun out. She was able to re-gain control and stop off the roadway in the median.
The second driver, 23 year old Autumn Powell of Lansing, Michigan told deputies she also lost control of her vehicle, spun out, and struck the rear of Lambert’s automobile with the rear of her vehicle, then struck the guardrail.
Powell, who is pregnant, complained of head pain, and was taken to an area hospital by Parkview DeKalb EMS. Lambert complained of body soreness, but refused medical treatment.
The Auburn Fire Department assisted at the scene.
