(BRONSON) – Bronson’s Planning Commission has said No to allowing recreational marijuana businesses to operate in the City.
Monday night, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to discuss the possibility of having recreational marijuana businesses operate in the city. One of the questions asked by a member of the audience was how much money would it bring it. Planning Commission Chairman and City Council member William Earl shares some information with those in attendance. LINKC.
In addition there are State tax revenues that would come back to the community.
Several audience members voiced their concern over having these types of businesses in Bronson. Kim Irwin, a Pastor at Bethel Gilead Church, shared her thoughts on the matter. LINKD.
After hearing from the audience, the Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend to the Bronson City Council to not allow for these types of businesses to operate in the City.
