(DEKALB COUNTY) – A three vehicle accident has left one person in critical condition.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says 19 year old Carson Days of Leo was driving his motorcycle north on County Road 35 at 6:45 AM Friday. 64 year old Gary Pulis of Auburn and 27 year old Austin Steckley of Butler were traveling south.
Deputies determined that Pulis turned east into a driveway in the 5600 block of County Road 35 and Steckley was slowing down. Days clipped the rear bumper of the bus Pulis was driving and then went head first into Steckley’s pick up.
Days is in critical condition at an area hospital. Both Pulis and Steckley were not injured. The matter is still under investigation.
Assisting deputies were the Indiana State Police, the Auburn Fire Department and Parkview EMS.
