(DEKALB COUNTY) – Two people were injured in a one vehicle accident on Northeast Indiana.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says 74 year old Elizabeth Goshorn of Highland Heights, Kentucky was driving south on I-69 near the 329 Exit just after 10:30 AM Saturday, when she suffered a medical event.
Goshorn went off the road and into the median. She over corrected and crossed both the south bound lanes of I-69 and went into the ditch on the west side of the highway. The vehicle then overturned and crashed into some trees.
Goshorn suffered internal injuries, while her passenger, 74 year old Dennis Goshorn, had general pain. Both were taken to an area hospital to be treated.
The Auburn Police and Fire Departments along with Parkview EMS assisted at the scene.
