UNION CITY, Mich. – A person is in custody following a police chase.
The Village of Union City posted on their Facebook page that Union City Police chased a vehicle for a mile, with the chase ending at M-60 and 9 Mile Road when the suspect vehicle crashed.
A 30 year old man who was driving the vehicle, was treated for minor injuries and then arrested.
Two dogs were in the vehicle and were unharmed. They were released to a third party.
Assisting at the scene were the Burlington Fire Department, the Michigan State Police, the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi Tribal Police and the Marshall Ambulance Service.
