MARSHALL, Mich. – A two vehicle crash took the life of a Coldwater man.
Michigan State Police from the Marshall Post were called to a head on crash on Michigan Avenue near 12 Mile Road in Calhoun County’s Marshall Township. Troopers determined that a Dodge Charger was traveling west when it crossed the centerline into the eastbound lane. The driver of a Hyundai Elantra that was heading east tried to avoid the crash, but was unable to.
The Charger was driven by a 27 year old Coldwater man, who was declared dead at the scene. The Elantra was driven by a 33 year old Richland man, who sustained minor injuries and sought medical treatment at a nearby hospital.
Troopers have not released the names of the drivers.
