FORT WAYNE - Dana Incorporated laid off 240 union workers from their Fort Wayne plant on Monday, September 25.
Amid a strike impacting production at the plant, the company has laid off 240 union workers from the United Auto Workers (UAW).
The workers have been on strike since September 15, when UAW President Shawn Fain announced the strike hours leading up to their union contract expiring.
The union currently is 5,800 members strong.
The lay offs in Fort Wayne came one week after 875 union workers were laid off at plants in Toledo.
President Joe Biden is expected to join the picketing in Toledo.
