Showers and a few thunderstorms will diminish from northwest to southeast late this morning into this afternoon.

Some ponding of water on roadways is possible early this morning with the heavier showers and storms.

The National Weather Service says another storm system will bring widespread rainfall Friday night into early Saturday morning. This may lead to some minor flooding of low-lying and flood prone areas across the listening area. A few area rivers may also go back into minor flooding.
