After a warm start to the day Wednesday, a cold front will usher in fall-like weather for what will weather-wise be the first day of Fall on Thursday.
The National Weather Service says as the cold front sweeps across the region, blustery northwest winds will bring a nip to the air.
We will see clearing skies Thursday into Friday, and overnight lows that will drop into the upper 30s to lower 40s.
Patchy frost is possible in sheltered, low lying areas.
