BETHEL TOWNSHIP, MI – The Michigan State Police have released the name of the person killed in a crash that happened late Friday afternoon in Michigan’s Branch County.
Authorities say Laurie Bradley of Bath, MI was a passenger in a pickup truck that was struck by a SUV at the intersection of Gilead Lake and Sikorski Roads at about 5:35 p.m. Friday evening. She was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene.
MSP investigators say the driver of the SUV was traveling east on Sikorski when the vehicle failed to stop at stop sign at the intersection, striking the southbound pickup truck Bradley was a passenger in.
The drivers of both vehicles were transported to Bronson Hospital of Kalamazoo in critical condition.
Two passengers in the SUV were taken to Promedica Coldwater Regional Hospital where they were treated for their injuries and released.
The names of the other persons involved in the crash have not been released.
