(Angola) - The City of Angola's Plan Commission gave Trine University a unanimous favorable recommendation to rezone the university's restaurant "The Depot" Monday night. The Depot was originally zoned as a C1 district, but Trine hopes to change it to a university district. Trine has owned the restaurant since 2011, and now hopes the rezoning will promote growth within its campus, as well as unification.
This recommendation will now be forwarded to the Angola City Council, where it will be decided whether or not Trine's request for the rezoning will be fully approved.
