LAGRANGE COUNTY - Tuesday morning LaGrange police officers arrested a man for several charges.

According to police reports, authorities deployed stop sticks in the area of US 20 and approximately CR 1000 W, in an attempt to stop a driver, identified as David Kuhlman, who previously failed to stop for Middlebury police officers. Kuhlman avoided the stop sticks by swerving, but then lost control of his vehicle which caused an accident.

After being medically cleared, Kuhlman was transported to the LaGrange County Jail and booked in for the following charges: Possession of Methamphetamine; Resisting Law Enforcement with a Motor Vehicle; Criminal Recklessness While armed with a Deadly Weapon.
