STURGIS – A newly formed group has agreed to help an organization financially.
Thursday night 100 GoodFellas held their first ever meeting, and voted to award just over $6,400 to Children's Trauma Assessment Group. They were one of three organizations that were chosen as finalists for 100 GoodFellas. The others were St. Joseph County Council for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and YFC/Campus Life of Southwest Michigan.
Representatives from each of the three groups made presentations on who they are and their mission in the community. 100 GoodFellas is an organization that asks 100 men in the Sturgis area to come together and each give $100. Different groups can then submit information to be considered candidates for the financial award.
