ELKHART – An Elkhart man has died from the injuries he sustained in a one vehicle accident.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department says 28 year old Cordero Love was driving east on U.S. 20 and approaching County Road 22 just after 10 PM Saturday. His vehicle went off the south side of the road and rolled over in a ditch. Love and his passenger, 31 year old Quentin Brown of Mishawaka, were both taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital. Love later died from his injuries. Brown was treated for head and neck pain.
Deputies say neither of the men were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash, which is still under investigation.
