(COLDWATER) – A man is being held in the Branch County Jail following a traffic stop.
The Coldwater Department of Public Safety say police officers conducted a traffic stop Monday at the intersection of North Clay and Williams Streets. The driver, 30 year old Bradley Burd of Homer, ran away from the scene but was apprehend following a short chase.
Officers discovered that Burd had methamphetamine on him when he was searched. Burd is charged with possession of meth, resisting, driving with a suspended license and parole violation.
