Looking to spice up your board game nights? This the perfect opportunity to trade in your old favorites for something new and exciting. Raid your shelves and gather up any board games you're ready to part with. Don't worry, they'll find a loving new home! Explore the wide array of games brought in by fellow enthusiasts. From classics to modern favorites, there's something for everyone. Head home with your newfound treasures and get ready to host the ultimate game night with friends and family. It’s not required to bring a game to take home.

Monday, March 18: Ravenous Readers Book Club, 3:00pm-4:00pm
Do you enjoy talking about books with friends? Join the Ravenous Readers at 3:00pm on the 3rd Monday at Fremont Public Library for literary discussions. Pick up your copy from the library any time leading up to the meeting to prepare for some fun discourse.
March’s read: “Our Missing Hearts” by Celeste Ng
Intended audience: Ages 18+


Tuesday, March 19: Box Car Drive-In, 10:15am-11:00am
Kiddos can enjoy a film and snack while relaxing in a box car at the pretend drive-in at Fremont Public Library. Showtime starts at 10:15am. Stop in or call to reserve your car!
Intended audience: Ages 2 - Kindergarten
Registration required.


Tuesday, March 19: Trivia Night, 5:30pm-6:30pm
Test your knowledge with a night of friendly competition! Come to Fremont Public Library at 5:30pm with your teammates or join a team when you arrive to see who has the biggest brain! Trivia Night is held on the 3rd Tuesday each month.
Intended audience: Ages 18+


Wednesday, March 20: Chess Club, 3:15pm-5:00pm
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, you'll have the chance to learn, practice, and enjoy the game at 3:15pm. Chess is the goal, but any board game can be played when you need a change of strategy.
Intended audience: Grades 5-12


Wednesday, March 20: Paws to Read, 3:30pm-4:30pm
Z, Middi, and Nyx, our furry friends from Paws for Friendship, Inc., will be at Fremont Public Library at 3:30pm to listen to the stories you'll be reading to them. These therapy dogs are also here if you simply need a moment of their calming presence. Paws for Friendship, Inc. pups visit the library on the 3rd Wednesday each month.

Thursday, March 28: Donuts w/Dana, 9:30am-10:30am
Wits Workout: “Star Gazing”
Join us at 9:30am for a thought-provoking series with engaging discussions and activities to exercise the brain and promote overall health and wellness at Fremont Public Library! Sharpen your cognitive skills with a side of coffee and donuts. FPL is the newest stop on the Donuts with Dana tour, joining the Heritage Club and YMCA. If you miss a session at one of those locations, you are welcome to make up the topic with us. Coffee and donuts provided.
Intended audience: 18+/Retired


Saturday, March 30: Construction Zone, 10:00am-12:00pm
Creativity Workers Wanted: Drop into Fremont Public Library at 10:00am with the whole family to stretch your creative muscles and build something amazing with different types of blocks and materials! LEGO creations will be displayed in the Children's area the week following the program.
