(GOSHEN) – A welfare check has now become a homicide investigation.
The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office was called on to do a welfare check at 5:20 PM Sunday in the 800 block of South Indiana Avenue in Goshen. When officers arrived at the house, they met with family members of the person that the welfare check was for.
Officers later called the Elkhart County Homicide Unit to conduct an investigation.
