(ANGOLA) – The season came to an end for the Trine softball team as they Lady Thunder lost twice Friday on their home field to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in the Super Regional, 5-1 and then 3-2. Debbie Hill took the loss in game one, giving up 5 runs and 3 hits, while Alexis Michon was the losing pitcher in game two. She gave up 10 hits and 5 runs. Hannah Ritter had 2 hits for Trine. UW-Oshkosh now heads to the 2024 NCAA Division III Softball Championship in Marshall, Texas. Trine finishes the season at 43-5. It’s the second most wins in program history and just the third time the team has reached the 40 win mark.
