(ANGOLA) - Trine University wrapped up one of the most successful esports seasons in program history, highlighted by a fourth-place national finish from its Overwatch team while competing for the first time in the nation's top ECAC division.
Trine advanced deep into the championship bracket after a dominant 3-0 victory over the University of Kentucky in the Titans division, before falling to the University of Delaware. The fourth-place finish places Trine among the elite Overwatch programs in the country.

The Thunder captured the title with 150 playoff points, finishing 40 points ahead of second-place University of Olivet. Trine claimed championships in Smash Ultimate and Overwatch, while earning a runner-up finish in Rocket League.
In Smash Ultimate, TJ Marsalek (Toledo, Ohio) was named MVP and an All-Star, earning his second MIAA title alongside teammates Tyler Rohn (Noblesville) and Colten Edgar (Milford). Eli Middleton (Noblesville) was also part of the championship roster.
