(FORT WAYNE) - Indiana Tech is getting a financial boost to explore how artificial intelligence can reshape college education. The university has been awarded a 150-thousand-dollar grant to study how AI can improve teaching, learning, and workforce preparation.

University officials say the funding will support new classroom approaches, faculty development, and stronger partnerships with industry leaders as AI continues to transform how work gets done. The effort is designed to help students graduate with skills that better match an increasingly technology-driven job market.

The grant is part of a statewide initiative aimed at helping Indiana colleges and universities adapt to the rapid growth of artificial intelligence. Indiana Tech leaders say the project will focus on using AI as a tool to improve student outcomes, enhance instruction, and better prepare graduates for careers shaped by emerging technologies.
