(COLDWATER) - Charges have been filed against a Bronson man in connection with a mobile home fire and a stolen vehicle in Branch County.

Court records show 21-year-old Dallas Gump is facing multiple felony charges, including second-degree arson, second-degree home invasion, and unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle. Investigators say first responders were called to a mobile home fire on Hollow Road on September 26th. The fire was later ruled intentional, and authorities say the home had been broken into before it was set ablaze. Several items were stolen, including a home security system, along with the homeowner's red pickup truck. Police identified Gump as a person of interest and later located him in Kentucky, where he was allegedly found driving the stolen truck with the missing items inside. Gump was arrested, extradited back to Michigan, and is being held on a $100,000 bond. He's scheduled for a probable cause hearing on December 23rd and a preliminary exam on December 30th.
