FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WLKI)- Workwear retailer Carhartt is opening its first Fort Wayne storefront Thursday at Jefferson Pointe Shopping Center.
The new store is located at 4220 W. Jefferson Blvd., Suite 01. It will be Carhartt's second standalone Indiana location and its 67th retail store nationwide. The company's other Indiana location is in Greenwood.
Carhartt said the Fort Wayne store will offer workwear for men, women and children, along with footwear and accessories.
To mark the opening, the first 1,000 customers enrolled in Carhartt's Groundbreakers Loyalty Program will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
Company officials said the expansion is aimed at making the brand's workwear more accessible to people throughout northeast Indiana.
"We are thrilled to add Fort Wayne to our retail footprint to make Carhartt's durable and versatile workwear easily available to the workforce in northeastern Indiana," said Mark Kastner, the company's director of direct-to-consumer store strategy and experience.
The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
