PLEASANT LAKE, Ind. (WLKI)- Organizers of a recent match and fundraising event say they are overwhelmed by the community response after the event and early fundraising efforts raised more than $30,000.
The total amount raised was $30,587, according to an announcement shared after the event.
Organizers thanked those who attended, contributed and supported the effort, saying the result reflected the generosity of families, businesses and community members.
The event's main sponsors included M and C Trenching, United Country Realty and Anchor Realty, the Horstman Family, Dimension Hardwoods, the Bock Family, the Baker Family, the Holman Family, Jolene Poradzisz and Liz Thomas.
Organizers said additional recognition for sponsors, volunteers and supporters will be shared in the coming days.
