This Giving Season, the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County has three important ways YOU can make a difference for animals in need.
First: Giving Tuesday is here!
Your generosity directly supports food, medical care, enrichment and lifesaving services for homeless pets in our community. Even a small gift helps create a big impact. $25 helps vaccinate a pet entering the shelter, $50 provides food & care for those waiting for their homes, $75 supports medical treatments, $100 helps fund spay-and-neuter programs.
Second: Thanks to the BISSELL Pet Foundation, adoption fees are reduced for a limited time! December 1st - December 15th.
If you've been thinking about adding a furry family member, now is the purrfect moment. Lower fees mean more pets finding safe, loving homes - and more room for the next animals who need urgent help.
And finally: winter is here, and our outdoor cats need warmth and safety!
The shelter is encouraging community members to help build outdoor cat shelters. These simple, insulated shelters provide life-saving protection for community cats during cold weather. Stop by on December 2nd at 6pm or December 4th 4pm - 7pm to help build.
