(ANGOLA) - Families looking for a Memorial Day weekend activity can climb aboard the Ice Cream Train in Angola.
The Indiana Rail Experience is offering multiple excursions Friday through Sunday departing from its station at 611 W. Maumee St.
Passengers will enjoy a round-trip train ride through the Indiana countryside and receive complimentary ice cream from Scoops Ice Cream during the trip.
All excursions will be powered by a vintage diesel locomotive. Organizers say the family-friendly trains offer a variety of seating options for passengers of all ages, with some seating reserved specifically for adults.
Trains departing from Angola typically travel north toward Fremont or south toward Steubenville before returning to the station.
