(ANGOLA) - Trine University's esports program has captured back-to-back conference championships, winning the Block House Esports League MIAA title for the second straight semester.
Program director Jeremy Goossens says Trine delivered a perfect score of 240 out of 240 points, calling it a dominant performance across the competition.
Two of Trine's teams -- Rainbow Six Siege and Overwatch -- went undefeated through both the regular season and playoffs.
Trine fielded three teams in the conference, including Rocket League, helping secure the overall title.
The University of Olivet finished second with 180 points, followed by Albion College with 110.
School officials say the repeat title marks a milestone for the growing esports program.
