(COLDWATER) - A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for a weekend break-in at a Coldwater business.
Coldwater police say the burglary occurred between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 1:45 a.m. Sunday at American Copper and Brass on South Michigan Avenue.
Investigators report an unknown black male suspect entered the facility overnight and stole copper coils and scrap copper. The suspect is believed to have been driving an SUV similar to a Ford Expedition and used the vehicle to pull a stolen U-Haul trailer loaded with the stolen materials.
Authorities say the suspect caused significant damage while forcing entry into the building.
