(STEUBEN COUNTY) - Residents and businesses in parts of Steuben County are experiencing internet service interruptions as ongoing power issues affect key infrastructure in the area.
According to Lakeland Internet, repeated power flickers from REMC and NIPSCO have impacted several tower sites, leading to intermittent outages. The instability has made it difficult to maintain consistent service for some customers.
At this time, there is no estimated timeline for when power will fully stabilize. Lakeland Internet says its technical team is actively monitoring conditions and working to restore reliable service as quickly as possible.
"We understand how disruptive service interruptions can be and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience," the company said in a statement. "We appreciate our customers' patience as we work through these power-related challenges."
