CHURUBUSCO — A former Hamilton Marines head basketball coach will be taking on a new head coaching role at Churubusco High School.
This week the Smith-Green Community School Board approved the hiring of Shannon Beard as the new head varsity boys basketball coach for Churubusco.
Beard was an assistant for former head coach Chris Paul for the last two seasons. Before coming to Churubusco, Beard was previously head coach at Hamilton for two seasons, from 2017 to 2019 where he was 7-39 with the Marines
