(ANGOLA) - The Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County is seeking full-time employees to join its team and help support daily operations at the shelter.
According to shelter officials, the position includes a mix of hands-on animal care and administrative responsibilities. Daily duties involve cleaning kennels and cat cages, sweeping and mopping floors, doing laundry and dishes, and assisting with adoptions and donations using the shelter?s computer system. Training will be provided.
The starting pay is $12.50 per hour. Weekend shifts are required, and applicants must have their own transportation.
Shelter representatives say the work is demanding but rewarding, offering the opportunity to directly support animals waiting for homes.
