ANGOLA (WLKI) - Residents and visitors will have several options for shopping, live music and local events during the Labor Day weekend in and around Angola.
The Steuben County Farmers Market will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon at the Steuben Community Center, 317 South Wayne Street in Angola.
The market features locally grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods, plants, honey and other items from area vendors. It continues each Saturday through October 31.
Also Saturday, Cold Springs Resort at Hamilton Lake will host another installment of its Summer Concert Series. Live music is scheduled from 8 p.m. until 11:45 p.m. at the resort, 260 Lane 120 Hamilton Lake. Admission is $10.
Lake James Lavender Company will hold its Season Finale Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 3515 North Bay View Road in Angola. Organizers say the event will celebrate the business's first season and include live music, food, cocktails and mocktails, lavender treats and shopping.
Sunday evening, Howie's on Hamilton will host its Sunday FUNday Labor Day Edition.
The event begins at 6 p.m. at 3950 East Bellefontaine Road in Hamilton. Crushing Daffodils will provide live music, performing songs from artists including The Beatles, Billy Joel and Elton John.
