Fremont MusicFest XXXI Brings Two Days of Live Music, Food and Fireworks

(FREMONT) - Fremont's Rocket Ship Park will fill with live music, classic cars, festival food and family activities Friday and Saturday for Fremont MusicFest XXXI.

The Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce celebration begins Friday afternoon and continues through Saturday night.


Friday, July 17

A car show will run from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Town Park ball diamond behind Rocket Ship Park.

Jim Weber and John Day perform from 4 to 5:30 p.m., followed by the Hubie Ashcraft Band from 6 to 10 p.m.

Friday's activities also include inflatables, the splash pad, craft vendors, food trucks and a beer garden.

Festival food will include elephant ears, Boy Scout pulled pork, American Legion pork tenderloins, curly fries and lemonade shake-ups.


Saturday, July 18

Saturday begins with a pancake breakfast hosted by Promised Land from 7 to 10 a.m. at the Rocket Ship Park Pavilion.

The Fremont MusicFest XXXI parade begins at 11 a.m. and will travel along Toledo Street through Fremont.

After the parade, children can meet Elsa and Spider-Man at noon.

Saturday will also include craft vendors, inflatables, the splash pad, face painting, a beer garden and food throughout the day.

-Saturday Music Lineup

Sierra Shame performs from noon to 2 p.m.

The Bull Dogs take the stage from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

Plan B performs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The Jessie Campbell Band closes the music schedule from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

-Fireworks Finale

Fremont MusicFest XXXI ends with fireworks at the Fremont Moose at 10:15 p.m. Saturday.
