(ANGOLA) - Steuben County Crime Stoppers is kicking off its 2026 "Jail & Bail" fundraiser, featuring a lineup of 12 local volunteers serving as this year's "Most Wanted."
The fundraiser invites the community to donate toward each participant's "bail," with proceeds supporting Crime Stoppers programs and local public safety efforts.
Donations can be made ahead of the event through Venmo, or in person on April 23 at the Historic Steuben County Courthouse, where volunteers will appear "behind bars" until their bail amounts are met.
Organizers say each participant has an assigned bail total, with updates on fundraising progress shared online leading up to the event.
The fundraiser is designed as a lighthearted way to engage the community while raising money for Crime Stoppers initiatives.
