(FORT WAYNE) - The Fort Wayne City Clerk's Office will offer free wedding ceremonies on Star Wars Day, Monday, May 4.
Ceremonies will be available from 10 until noon and again from 2 until 4 at Citizens Square in downtown Fort Wayne.
Appointments will be scheduled in 20-minute blocks on a first-come, first-served basis.
City officials say couples must obtain a valid Indiana marriage license from the Allen County Clerk before the ceremony. The marriage license costs $25, but the ceremony itself is free.
Members of the Northern Darkness Garrison, northern Indiana's Star Wars costuming group, will also be on hand for the event.
Ceremonies will be limited to the couple plus up to four guests because of space limits.
