(AUBURN) - A former DeKalb High School employee and Garrett High School teacher and coach has again pleaded guilty to multiple child sex and pornography charges.
According to The Star newspaper, Brody Dixon entered guilty pleas Monday in DeKalb Superior Court II to child solicitation, vicarious sexual gratification and possession of child pornography, along with four counts of child exploitation, all Level 5 felonies.
Under a plea agreement, Dixon is to receive four years on each of seven counts, to be served consecutively for a total of 28 years. The agreement caps executed time at 11 years, with the remainder suspended, followed by four years of probation.
Court records show the plea agreement matches one filed in September 2025. That earlier plea was later vacated after a series of legal motions, before Dixon again moved to plead guilty under the same terms.
During a previous hearing, Dixon admitted to soliciting a minor between the ages of 14 and 16 in 2019 and possessing child pornography. He also admitted to using artificial intelligence to create sexual images involving children in the exploitation case.
As part of the agreement, multiple additional charges across several cases will be dismissed.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 6.
