Fremont girls fall to Borden 51-31 in 1A Title Game

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The season came to an end for the Fremont girls basketball team Saturday as the Lady Eagles fell to defending champion Borden 51-31 in the Class 1A State Championship Game. After a close first quarter, Borden pulled away to win their second straight State Title. Grace Scharlach led Fremont with 10 points and 3 rebounds. Mya Turner had 8 points and 4 rebounds while Chloe Verdin had 5 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. (LISTEN ABOVE). Fremont ends the season at 28-3 while Borden is 25-2.
