The Gift of Love for Veterans-Free Breakfast for Vietnam Veterans Day
The community warmly welcomes home its veterans and thanks them for their service. Every day is recognized as a day to honor and appreciate those who served. Gratitude is given to God for all veterans, and a celebration is held in honor of everyone who served in the United States Armed Forces.
A free breakfast is offered to all veterans, as well as their family members and friends who wish to celebrate their service.
The event will take place at Fremont Moose Lodge #2387, Fremont, Indiana 46737, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Donations are accepted, and appreciation is extended to all who help support veterans.
Food donations are also being collected for the "We Can Project" to help feed local veterans. Requested items include canned meats, stews, pasta with meat, fruit, soups, and ready-made meals.
This effort is conducted in partnership with the Steuben County Veterans Services Office, located at 317 S. Wayne St., Suite 2B, Angola, IN 46703.
