(ANGOLA) - The American Red Cross is teaming up with local first responders in Angola for the city's first-ever Battle of the Badges Blood Drive.
The community is invited to take part in the friendly competition by donating blood and casting a "vote" for their favorite first responder agency.
The blood drive runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at the Carnegie Public Library in Angola.
Those interested in donating can schedule an appointment at RedCrossBlood.org using the code "CPLANG," call 1-800-RED CROSS or use the Red Cross Blood Donor App.
