
FORT WAYNE - The Fort Wayne Jackers won the National Amateur Baseball Federation (NABF) Fort Wayne Regional on Saturday, July 29 and will be competing 2023 Charles Blackburn Major Division World Series on Wednesday, August 2.
The Jackers went 5-0 in regional play.
They beat the Prison City Padres 3-1, the South Bend Royals 5-1, Jasper Reds 9-3, Portland Rockets 8-4, and finally the Livonia Firebirds 17-10, in the Championship game.
"Each game had contributions from every guy on the 22 man roster," said the Jacker's in a Facebook post.
The team with a current record of 24-2 will now advance to the NABF World Series at Bailey Park in Battle Creek, Michigan from Wednesday, August 2 - Sunday, August 6.
The Jackers, now advance to the NABF World Series, with an overall record of 24-2.
