In an announcement made on Wednesday, one area high school football program has reason to celebrate. The Prairie Heights Panthers were awarded the grand prize helmet giveaway from the Indianapolis Colts.
The event was co-sponsored by United Health Care and the Indianapolis Colts in a top prize of $25,000 being awarded to the school which will help go towards the purchase of brand new football helmets for this upcoming season.
The Panthers will kick-off their 2020 campaign coming up this August.
