The Angola Hornets outscored the #3 Class 2A Panthers Friday night in boys varsity basketball action. Angola trailed by 15 points at the half, and eventually turned the tables on the panthers by the third quarter to take control of the game.
A technical foul on Elijah Malone of the Panthers led to Angola’s Dyer Ball giving his team a three-point lead in the fourth quarter. Malone and Mike Perkins each missed 3-point attempts in the final seconds as the Panthers fell to the Hornets, 32-28.
Angola’s Ball led the game in points with 11.
