Area residents and several local officials have sent letters to Governor Eric Holcomb, State Representatives, and Senators in Washington D.C. concerning plans that a Pioneer, Ohio man has to pump water from the Michindoh Aquifer.
A form letter has been created for those who want to reach out to Holcomb about the issue.
At meetings held recently in both Angola and Auburn, Senator Sue Glick, a Reupblican from LaGrange, said that Governor Holcomb has the power to take action to protect the groundwater in Indiana.
