(LAGRANGE) – The LaGrange County Council approved a request for funds for road work in 2025.
During Monday’s meeting LaGrange County Highway Engineer Tharon Morgan asked for $5.5 million for the 2025 road construction season. Morgan says part of the funds would go towards a match of money awarded by the State of Indiana. LINKC.

Other projects will be a span that goes between North and South Twin Lakes; and some other issues on roads that the Department does work on every year. Morgan says fixes planned for 2025 will last for several years, and will not have to be worked on annually.
The request was approved by a unanimous vote. The money will come from the County’s EDIT Fund.
