12 miles of road work is expected to start on I-69 in Branch County Monday.
That's according to a press release from the Michigan Department of Transportation. That means the road will be down to 1 lane in both directions.
The project will include work on three bridges-- between Girard Road and Otis Road. Officials say the project will help extend the life of the Fenn Road, State Road, and Newton Road bridges.
The project is expected to be completed toward the end of August. Use caution when driving in the area.
