ANGOLA, IN — An Angola woman is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly dealing meth.
Authorities say the suspect, identified as Judi Jo Proffitt, age 45, was following a truck driven by her son when an Indiana State Police Trooper noticed the truck was lacking a license plate. Reports indicate she was driving close behind her son in order to shield the fact he was driving without a license plate.
The incident happened late Friday night, on April 2nd, near the mile 350 interchange of Interstate 69 at County Road 200 West.
Proffitt was taken into custody following the incident. She faces two felony counts of dealing methamphetamine (Level 2 and 3 felonies).
